Casa da Vila is a guesthouse in Campo Maior (Alentejo).

The colors were chosen by the client, and the initial name of the house was “Casa dos Avós” (Grandparents’ House), which unfortunately had to be changed later.

Thus, the main concept of the project was to evoke the welcoming and comforting feeling of grandparents’ hugs.

The design of the “dos” font aimed to convey that warm, welcoming, and safe feeling of grandparents’ hugs.
